CAN Network at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park secures £80k National Lottery Community Power funding for community-led decision-making across East London.

The Community Network (CAN) at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has secured an £80,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund through its Community Power programme in 2026. Successfully selected from over 650 applicants and one of 17 projects nationwide, CAN will deliver a year-long initiative to strengthen community voice and local decision-making across Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Deep Boroughs Network (DBN) is a founding partner of the Community Anchor Network (CAN) at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, working with LLDC and 15 local organisations to co-design community power and inclusive growth programmes across East London.
