Repackaging Poverty:
Urban and Lived-Experience Research on Regeneration
DBN delivers bespoke urban research examining how regeneration in areas such as Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Hackney Wick can unintentionally exclude local communities. We combine academic frameworks, qualitative research, and lived-experience insight to identify barriers to inclusive growth and prosperity.
Our work is informed by East London–based lived-experience researchers, including contributors to the Prosperity in East London 2021–2031 Study. We support organisations to commission credible, evidence-based research that strengthens policy, investment, and CSR strategies by centring overlooked voices and real-world impact.
